What does everyone think of the current problems in Iran?
I don't think Moussavi or Ahmadinijad would be a good leader but it is heartening to see the people rising up in the name of liberty and democracy. We have done a lot of talk about bringing democracy to the middle east and I think the Iranian people have shown that they do truly value liberty and freedom. I think one of the keys to spreading democracy and freedom is empowering the people of a country to communicate with the rest of the world. So often a dictator will keep his people cut off from the rest of the world like they do in North Korea. If the people can use the internet and see what freedoms are like in other countries then they will find a way to bring that freedom to their country.
